Lonan joined Maher Law in June 2025. Lonan is a trainee advocate and assists Tom Maher and Katherine Sheerin with a wide range of Chancery litigation alongside contentious and non-contentious employment and regulatory matters.
Lonan graduated from the Open University in 2023 with a First Class Honours degree and obtained a distinction in her Post Graduate Diploma in Law with Leeds Beckett in 2025. Lonan completed her Manx Bar Exams in 2026, achieving a distinction.
Lonan has several years of litigation experience, having previously worked in the civil litigation division of the Isle of Man Attorney General’s Chambers. She has also assisted and advised on a variety of contentious civil matters including regulatory, commercial and employment disputes.
